Our ideal candiate has great communication skills, the ability to work with a team and multi-task.
This person must be capable of handling multiple phone lines while still providing excellent customer service.
Applicant needs to have excellent verbal skills and be able to write professionally and help maintain accurate medical records.
Ideally this candidate has experience working in a veterinary hospital, but it is not required.
Our receptionist's are our client's first contact with calling or visiting the practice and as such represents the professional image of our practice to callers and visitors.
We are open Monday-Friday, closed on weekends and holidays.
Responsibilites Patient Check in/check out Prepare treatment estimates Manage multiple phone lines Take messages for doctors Manage appointment schedule for 3 doctors Attach medical records Respond to emails and hospital text messages Keep a clean, tidy front desk and lobby Take patients back to treatment area Take payments Handle cash drawer Return client phone calls Qualifications Highschool diploma or equivalent 1 year experience working in a veterinary hospital is preferred, but not required Excellent communication between other team members and clients Computer skills Knowledge of Avimark Veterinary Software is a plus Professional Positive Attitude Punctual Ability to multitask Knowledge of a veterinary hospital and its procedures Pay:
