Systems Administrator with Security Clearance
Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Systems AdministratorIn this position you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and networking of UNIX and/or NT based platforms.o You will create, modify, and delete user accounts Perform system backups Maintain system configuration fileso Install and configure hardware, operating systems and commercial software packageso Will develop and implement enterprise backup/recovery strategies, server configuration and consolidation, and verification of the health and status of the entire IT infrastructure. Will provide support for the enterprise services such as DNS, NFS, and e-mailRequired Education, Experience, & Skills Requires:
TS/SCI Clearance with appropriate poly Ability to work onsite 100% of the time Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, be able to perform all functions of a System Administrator I coupled with 5 years of demonstrable experience in system administration and support of a large client-server based IT enterprise.o Non-degree:
The individual shall have 5 years of full time computer science work can substitute for the Bachelor's Degree, be able to perform all functions of a System Administrator I, and have 5 years of demonstrable experience in system administration and support of a large client-server based IT enterpriseThis experience shall include installation, configuration, and networking of UNIX and/or NT based platforms.o IAT Level II Certification required This experience shall include:
Creating, modifying and deleting user accounts, performing system back-ups, and maintaining system configuration files.o Individual shall have a fundamental understanding of operating systems and be familiar with either UNIX or NT commands or utilities at the user level.o In addition, experience shall include the installation and configuration of hardware, operating systems, and commercial software packages.o Individual shall be able to develop and implement enterprise backup/recovery strategies, server configuration and consolidation, and verification of the health and status of the entire IT infrastructure.o Individual shall be able to provide support for the enterprise services such as DNS, NFS, and e-mail.MDOPS Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$75510 - $128340 Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structuresHowever, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
