Qualifications:
Mountain Sunrise will follow applicable USBE standards.
All teachers will have a bachelor level degree at an approved higher education institution and will hold an appropriate license with areas of concentration and endorsements as approved by the USBE (See R277-510, R277-520 and R277-524) such as an AEL or PEL Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, pedagogy, and methods of Waldorf education Integrate art, movement, and experiential learning while effectively teaching state standards Good communication and collaboration with all stakeholders Show effective classroom management Be proficient in formative and summative assessments Waldorf experience is highly recommended such as a certificate in Waldorf education or experience as a Waldorf teacher.
If these are not present then the teacher should have a commitment and dedication to receive professional Waldorf teacher training to develop skills and capacities, which we will help provide.
We also provide onsite Waldorf trained mentor teachers! Regularly able to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds Compensation:
