Your Design Guys is a tight-knit family of web designers, developers, copywriters and project managers working together to provide small businesses around the world with beautifully effective websites.
We re looking to expand our team with a junior front end developer eager to learn, grow, and collaborate with our designers/developers to bring our clients the best end-product possible.
We work hard, but we also take the time to laugh and have fun together. The environment is relaxed with an office that includes free drinks/snacks, air hockey, a TV/video game lounge, and even a miniature indoor soccer field.
As junior developer, you will collaborate with lead developer and project managers to bring the client s vision to life through their website. This position comes with the opportunity to grow as we prefer to promote from within whenever possible and love to see our team members achieve their dreams!
Starting wage is between $13 to $15 per hour depending on experience and there is always room to grow. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and learn while you earn.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
-Utilize your skills in HTML/CSS to fine tune and code designers work into functional websites. We primarily use Wordpress as a CMS so experience with creating themes within Wordpress is beneficial. You will also be tasked with making small adjustments to clients live sites in order to update and change their sites.
-Conduct occasional phone calls with client's to clarify their requests
-Manage task lists and complete tasks in a thorough and timely manner
Qualifications
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS and basic web design principles
- Basic SAAS
- Basic PHP
- WordPress
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
- Solid work ethic and attendance
